Contradictions

Read this: The human being's funniest characteristics is our contradictions. Why is that so? Well, we are in such a hurry to grow up, and then we long for our lost childhood. We make ourselvs ill earning money, and then we spend all our money trying to get well again. We think so much about the future that we forget and neglect the present, and thus end up experiencing neither the present nor future. We live as if we were never going to die, and die as if we had never lived. Learn to slow down and count our own blessings.

Frenz - would like to introduce you to Norma, a 60 odd years old Brazlian lady. She is known as "the rocking grandma" and it is not because she sits in a rocking chair. This granny is famous for working in various places - organising promotions, parties and concerts! When asked about the source of her energy, she revealed that she has this magic calendar. It is actually an old and much scribbled-upon calendar. On the calendar, Norma had written down something good that had happened on each date - the day that a vaccine against polo is discovered, the day that WWII has ended etc. For her, each day is beautiful and we must celebrate... not because of recognition, promotion, salary increase... life is beautiful and so that is enough reason to celebrate.
